President Akuffo-Addo’s convoy car involved in an Accident
In a shocking turn of events, the convoy of Ghana’s President, Nana Akufo-Addo, was involved in a serious accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway today. Unfortunately, one of the drivers, Mr. Kwesi Atta, lost his life in the incident, while several others sustained severe injuries. The accident occurred when the President’s convoy was traveling to Accra from Kumasi.
Despite the seriousness of the accident, President Akufo-Addo himself escaped unhurt, opting to travel to Accra via military aircraft to ensure his safety. According to reports, the President is safe and unharmed, and is currently back in Accra.
The exact circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear, and an investigation is likely to be launched to determine the cause of the incident. Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Mr. Kwesi Atta, who tragically lost his life in the accident.
However, President Akufo-Addo is reported to have arrived safely in Accra by air.
